Film Brief:

Produce a series of short films and social content to promote Bee in the City, Manchester’s major public art trail created by Wild in Art.

The campaign featured more than 100 large-scale bee sculptures and 100 smaller bees across the city. Our films captured the artists, sponsors, locations and public experience of the trail, helping build awareness and engagement around the event.

The event attracted more than 695,000 active visitors and generated over £33.5m in economic impact. Wild in Art credited the films with helping position Bee in the City as a must-see event (see below).

Client Feedback:

"

Daylight’s tenacity and creativity shone through. With Matt and his team by our side, not only did the films help position Bee in the City as a must-see, feel-good spectacle, attracting visitors from across the Manchester region, the UK and beyond, they won the hearts and minds of audiences.

We achieved a sell-out Farewell Weekend event (15,000 tickets over 3 days) and surpassed our targets for the charity auction (£1.1million raised): Bee in the City was truly embraced and Daylight were instrumental in its success.
